Taking part
Publishing is for invited professionals aged 18 or over. Use your own name and account, describe your experience honestly and keep your sign-in details secure. Contributions are public, including earlier revisions, sources and the relationships between posts. Only publish material you are entitled to share.
A claim expresses its author's position. An attestation backs a particular revision and must explain its basis; it is not independently verified truth. A fork belongs to its own author and does not imply that the parent author endorses it. Account attribution is not verification of a person's identity, qualifications or employer.
Your work
You retain copyright in your original contributions. You give Seconders a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, format and display them publicly, maintain their revision and attribution links, and provide the site's ordinary sharing and export functions. We may use our service providers for those purposes. This permission is limited to operating Seconders; it does not transfer ownership or grant us permission to sell your work separately.
Link and attribute work you build on. Include quotations only when you have permission or another right to use them. Citing a source does not give you ownership of it. Other people's contributions retain their own authorship and rights.
Changes and removal
Ordinary edits create new revisions. Existing attestations and forks keep their original revision links. You can request removal by emailing the contribution URL and what you want removed. Removal from the active service covers its stored earlier versions too; a placeholder may remain so other people's links still make sense. Provider backups expire under their configured retention periods. We cannot erase copies independently made by others. See reporting and removal for details.
Using Seconders
Core participation is free. Any future paid tools will have a stated price and separate purchase terms before you pay. The service may change or end, and availability is not guaranteed. No AI provider is currently connected to analyse your contributions. Any future AI processing will be explained before it is enabled.
We may remove material or suspend access under the community rules. We will explain material policy changes on the site. Questions or concerns can be sent to us using the contact link above.
